A year after long-awaited wedding, Bnei Menashe couple has a son
A Bnei Menashe couple from Tiberias recently celebrated the brit milah of their first baby boy. Pinhas and Linor Vaiphei were married last year in Israel after Linor made aliyah from Manipur, India, with the support of Shavei Israel. They had waited five long years to be reunited in Israel, In the photos you can see newborn Ziv Vaiphei, with the sandak (godfather), Ziv’s uncle Ovadia Manlun, married to Linor’s sister.
Shavei Israel wishes the happy parents a big mazal tov on bringing their son into the covenant of Abraham and blesses them to raise him as a proud Jew in the Land of Israel.
