Community life in Jewish Colombia
This week our Colombian communities hosted two conferences with Rabbi Amram Amsalem as a speaker organized by the ACIC – Asociación de Comunidades Israelitas de Colombia (Association of Jewish Communities of Colombia). The two events were attended by local Bnei Anousim and devoted to the same topic: “The difference between belief in G-d and living with G-d”.
The first conference took place in the Jewish community of Antioquia, Medellin, and the second one in the Maguen Abraham community of Cali.

Besides the educational aspect, the Jewish life of Colombia includes many other important issue, including providing kosher food, the sphere which Rabbi Shimon Yehoshua, Shavei’s emissary in Colombia, takes part in. We would like to share with some pictures of his work in this field and some additional activities he organizes for the Bnei Anousim communities from Bogota and many other locations.
