New Shavei Israel class receives thrice expected sign-ups
Last week we told you about a new online class Shavei Israel is starting for Spanish and Portuguese speakers.
The response was overwhelming: more than 900 people subscribed in the hours after we posted our announcement of the class.
We expected interest, sure, but that’s three times our prediction.
We’ve upgraded our online course software to ensure that no one is turned away.
The class will be taught by Rabbi Elisha Salas, Shavei Israel’s emissary to Spain and Portugal. The topic is Shabbat.
