Yeshiva for Bnei Anousim in Colombia launched
As we reported earlier, work towards opening up a yeshiva specifically for Bnei Anousim in Colombia has been moving forward and, two weeks ago, the institution opened its doors. The yeshiva has 10 youngsters enrolled from the cities of Bogota, Medellin and Cucuta. It is actually the first yeshiva in Colombia of any kind, although there are several existing kollels, which are intended for married men. 100 people attended the grand opening in the presence of Colombia’s Chief Rabbi Alfredo Goldschmidt.
We have two pictures here.
