The Bnei Menashe had a grand time celebrating Purim this year, complete with a Purim play, dramatizing the story of King Ahashverous, Mordechai and Queen Esther; a lavish Purim costume competition; a “Miss Purim” contest for the children (look who won!); giving gifts to other Bnei Menashe communities; and, of course, the reading of the Megillah. You can see it all in the pictures below which come straight to us from our emissary Yochanan Phaltual who was there at the main Bnei Menashe Beith Shalom community in Manipur.
