Bnei Menashe celebrate Jerusalem Day
Yom Yerushalayim – Jerusalem Day – marks the reunification of Israel’s capital following the Six Day War in 1967. It is an emotional day for veteran Israelis and even more so for new immigrants who only recently saw Jerusalem for the first time.
A group of Bnei Menashe young women, recent immigrants from India now living in Tiberias, toured Jerusalem on Sunday for Yom Yerushalayim. We have a few pictures below as they visited the Western Wall, posed in front of the giant gold Menorah overlooking the Western Wall plaza and walked through the ancient stones of the Roman Cardo.
You don’t have to be from India or wait until Yom Yerushalayim to come visit Jerusalem. Israel’s capital is waiting for you. Please join us!
